    What’s the job?

    Inside Sales Activities - 50%

    Responsible for leveraging customer engagement opportunities (leads) from both inbound and outbound interactions to identify, develop, document, and appropriately route sales opportunities to product sales teams

    Must be agile and adapt within any environment while also maintaining a level of authority

    Assist with territory support for outside sales team

    Follow up and distribute leads that are provided to the Inside Sales team from other departments

    Help connect homeowners, contractors, and distributors with the correct parties

    Promote CertainTeed products and help build relationships with customers

    Attend trade shows and events that rely on an Inside Sales presence

    Increase lead generation by seeking new opportunities in assigned region or working with outside sales teams

    Outbound calling, emailing, and following up on existing leads

    Inside Sales Support - 30%

    Ensure all team leads are followed up with in a timely manner

    Data quality scores are maintained, and leads have appropriate activities on them by Inside Sales Representatives

    Proactively communicate with the CRM team on ways to improve workflow

    Run monthly reports on lead and activity data for the Inside Sales Representatives

    Communicate with businesses on the leads received for their sales teams

    Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager and business leaders on how to improve lead data

    Help maintain service levels to track monthly KPI’s

    Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on prospects and customers

    Help identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in the CRM system

    Onboarding & Continuous Training - 15%

    Assist with onboarding and training new employees on department policies and procedures.

    Create and document policies and procedures as needed

    Stay current on product knowledge across all businesses and help communicate changes to Inside Sales Representatives

    Continuous training on CRM updates and internal platforms

    Teach and train team and other departments on workflow changes

    Produce documentation on any changes or adjustments to department policy and procedures

    Empower the team to take initiative on projects and collaborate within their designated regions

    Employee Growth and Management - 5%

    Assist the Inside Sales Manager with recruitment and actively seek promotions for Inside Sales Representatives who are excelling in their career

    Support the Inside Sales Representatives who are struggling to help find ways to improve work

    Help find new ways to grow the Inside Sales teams bandwidth

    Assist with outreach to all businesses on how Inside Sales can be an asset to them

    In the absence of the Inside Sales manager, the Team Lead will step in to support the team

    Support the Inside Sales Manager lead projects as needed

    Maintain department schedules

    First line of communication for management on issues with external customers

    Assist with coaching, evaluating, and monitoring Inside Sales Representatives

    Help develop ways to meet and surpass the team’s goals and objectives

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

    What do you bring?

    BA/BS preferred - OR Associates Degree with 1-3 years of customer service-related experience

    2-4 years of sales related experience

    STEPS TO JOIN US

    Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $68,700 to $106,300 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

    In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $74,883 to $115,867. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
