We have an exciting opportunity on newly created SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER position who wishes to develop in international environment within CENTRAL STRUCTURE. NEW FUNCTION is connected with LAUNCHING NEW PROGRAMS. Engineer will report to Supplier Quality Manager based in Germany and work for our Seating Division in Europe.

YOUR TASKS WILL BE:
- Track and perform APQP activities with suppliers
- Support programs with expertise in design for manufacturing
- Manage claims and improvement plans in pre-serial phase in case of supplier related issues
- Ensuring that all supplier report their status and PPAP
- Perform Run@Rates and process sign offs at suppliers
- Supporting operations team on escalated supplier quality issues
- Driving improvement plans for the poor performing strategic suppliers
- Auditing and developing suppliers, new suppliers implementation
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5 years of practical experience in quality area, within automotive industry
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in APQP, PPAP and 8D process
- Practice in performing quality audits, preferably VDA 6.3
- Process optimization skills and knowledge - continuous improvement / lean
- Problem solving attitude and very good communication skills
- Driving license cat. B
- Willingness to travel and visit suppliers - up to 35% within Czech
- Fluent in English, German language skills would be a plus
