KP Building Products, Holly Springs, MS, a manufacturing plant that produces vinyl siding and accessories, is seeking responsible and reliable individuals to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We currently have full-time openings for Production Workers for the following 12 hour rotating shifts, with some weekend work required: Day Shift: 8 am. - 8 p.m. or  Night Shift: 8 p.m. - 8 a.m. 

The typical schedule is as follows:

WEEK 1: Mon/Tue-Work, Wed/Thu - Off,  Fri/Sat/Sun-Work  

WEEK 2: Mon/Tue-Off, Wed/Thu-Work, Fri/Sat/Sun-Off

Please note that the initial training is 2 weeks long and is conducted in 8-hour shifts: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. or 4 p.m. - 12 am. Starting pay: $14/hour, with regular performance-based increases at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year, during the first year of employment.  You will also be provided with opportunities to promote into the Production Operator role and earn up to $16.25 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• packing siding, quality checks, labeling boxes with the product
• basic housekeeping and
• assisting machine operators

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• the ability to stand for long periods at a time;
• ability to make repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling;
• lifting up to 50 lbs.;
• reading and writing clearly;
• attention to detail;
• excellent communication skills;
• basic math skills and reading a tape measure;
• understanding and following verbal and written instructions;
• high school diploma or equivalent;
• the ability to work in a team environment and
• positive attitude.
