Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Mechanical and/or Electronic courses (Preferred)
- Associate degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience (Required)
- Electro-mechanical experience (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
- Powered Industrial Truck Certification
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to organize work, people, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Ability to retain knowledge of procedures and processes and understand complex instructions and multi-step procedures.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language preferred.
- Ability to work a schedule with call-in and overtime duties.
- Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.
- Able to read and understand schematics/blueprints. Intermediate math skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations/requirements.
- Plans and organizes daily work flow. Must demonstrate good time management skills.
- Proficient in performing production equipment preventive maintenance.
- Service-oriented personality.
- Willingness to attend training classes to learn or enhance skills.
- Equipment/Software Utilized: Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet software.
- Ideal candidate will have experience with Inventory Software, Manufacturing Software and Order Processing Systems.
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS:
- Informs leaders and other technicians of pertinent information and frequently communicates to plant personnel and leadership.
- Communicates with outside vendors and various suppliers, service and maintenance providers.
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $22.00 - $24.00 /hr Shift Differential. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
