Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Vocational / Technical Degree in Electromechanical or Machine Automation (Preferred)
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years related electro-mechanical experience
- Extensive hands-on experience and detailed knowledge of Industrial mechanical and electrical machines and systems.
- Computer hardware and software, specifically industrial controls and related I/O's.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
- Technical certification, or equivalent preferred
- Powered Industrial Truck Certification, will certify onsite
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Able to identify and perform Level A, B, & C equipment preventive maintenance.
- Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations/requirements.
- Able to read and understand schematics/blueprints.
- Must demonstrate good time management skills.
- Ability to retain knowledge of procedures and processes and understand complex instructions and multi-step procedures.
- Willingness to attend training classes to learn or enhance skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate area, circumference, volume, etc.
- Service-oriented personality.
- Ability to work independently on nights and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work a schedule with call-in and overtime duties.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language.
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE UTILIZED
- Strong Computer literacy: Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet software.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with Inventory Software, Manufacturing Software and Order Processing systems.
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
• Informs leaders and other technicians of pertinent information and communicates to
Plant personnel, leadership, and other departments, as necessary.
• Communicates with equipment operators to determine problems with equipment before
breakdown and to determine if equipment adjustments or repairs are necessary.
• Communicates with outside vendors and various suppliers, service, and maintenance
providers.

Additional Information
The hourly rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $30.00 - $36.00, plus $1.25/hr. shift differential while working on the 3rd shift.
In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
