  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Gathers, enters, manages, and analyzes information to support manufacturing operations. Interacts with customers, suppliers, management, manufacturing team members, and with other departments and plants. Completes tasks and responsibilities as assigned by department management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepares, schedules, and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products
    • Ensures accuracy of orders and reconciles receivables against them
    • Analyzes inventory levels and production plans to ensure product availability and cost-efficient manufacturing and inventory
    • Maintains control over inventories, including physical inventory counts and reconciliations
    • Prepares and generates reports as assigned
    • Analyzes relevant information to make recommendations to customers and manufacturing that will reduce cost or increase efficiency
    • Communicates in timely, professional, and un-ambiguous fashion with appropriate parties on topics relevant to assignments
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Requires knowledge of general administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes to successfully execute and complete the more progressive/complex duties of the job.
    • Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and the impact work has on the department or company.
    • Must have very good knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office or MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete duties successfully.
    • Requires good knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact with while completing daily work assignments of the job.
    • Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental policy, methods, and/or procedures when completing assignments.
    • Requires organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and the ability to coordinate phases of work with others.
    • Additional job knowledge, skills, and/or abilities specific to a department may be listed on the staffing requisition.
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • 2+ years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job

    The national pay range for this role is $51,900 to $75,700 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
