    What’s the job?

    • Provides support to the Plant Manager and plant resources (including schedules, appointments, presentations, communications and personnel interaction).
    • Compiles, audits, and processes a variety of complex and confidential weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for departments as requested.
    • Reviews daily production reports with Operations & Facilities Manager and assists in month-end closing.
    • Schedules and coordinates shipments of finished goods and other materials out of the plant
    • Assists accounts payable with any payment issues.
    • Develops accurate data and information from records to prepare reports, statistics, etc.
    • Assists in the documentation of safety training and safety information at the plant.
    • Assist in maintaining human resources processes & records for the plant as mandated or required by Federal and State agencies or by CertainTeed Gypsum Inc.
    • Assist employees with administration and processing of CertainTeed benefit plans.
    • Develops and maintains a filing system that complies with the Corporate Retention Policy.
    • Assures Plant's business licenses are current.

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

    What do you bring?

    • High School diploma.
    • 2-4 years’ general office and related experience in a manufacturing facility.
    • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
    • Ability to perform job duties, display a can do attitude and interact with others effectively.
    • Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
    • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulation/procedures
    • PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.
