Intern - (1803920) Description Job Summary: Here at ON Semiconductor we

individual will be responsible for quickly learning a variety of testing
platforms from local experts, completing a high volume of test requests
from company engineering groups, and communicating data back to
engineers. Vigilance in noticing data discrepancies, the ability to
communicate device or testing issues with engineers, and consistency in
a fast paced working environment will be essential skills. There will be
opportunity to create new test procedures and methods for advanced
products in the industry. Performance Objectives: This opportunity will
ask a student to have the following performance objectives: * Design and
document test procedures for advanced products in the industry *
Evaluate industry leading products and provide performance data *
Provide data on established products to determine changes or shifts in
performance * Determine or replicate failure modes of observed issues of
product * Interact with requesters to provide input and feedback for
testing and test results Qualifications In order to be considered for an
internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing
an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for:
- AAS in Electronics degree or equivalent knowledge and experience or
currently working on degree * Solid understanding of digital and analog
electronics. Must have thorough understanding of issues associated with
testing discrete components. * Competent with the use of standard
electronic test equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, curve tracers,
pulse generators, etc. * Comfortable with soldering station * Competent
with computer usage: MS Office products (particularly Excel), Internet
browsers, Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for tester control. Desired
Skills: * LabVIEW programming skills. * ATE programming and test
experience: Tesec and STI experience highly desirable. * Experience with
Semiconductor Parametric Analyzers (SPAs) such as HP4145, HP4155/56,
HP4142. * Experience with Network and Spectrum analyzers. * Capable of
component level troubleshooting of all test system failures. ON
