Perform routine but varied clerical duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures. Provide clerical support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents. Maintain records, compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and performing routine clerical tasks related to manufacturing. Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests. Responsible for maintaining department files. May assist with production planning and special projects. May assist in resolving payroll issues.
1. Prepares Postal Statements by calculating and gathering the necessary documentation from EPIC, mail.dat, production and other necessary resources to ensure that the mailing information is accurate.
2. Reconciles job tickets by using JTR to ensure all pieces have been accounted and expedited correctly.
3. Printing of mail sort paperwork (tray tags/pallet placards) for production.
4. Handles various types of mail (No Mails, Invalids, Foreigns, and Specials) using the instructions from the project managers to ensure that the mail is properly sent out. This also includes the expediting of mail to a 3rd party vendor for further processing of the mail (XPO, Skymail, and UPS Innovations)
5. Performs trouble-shooting measures by reviewing mailsort documents for any errors to ensure that they meet the United States Postal Service (USPS) specifications.
6. Assists Production Coordinator with preparation of Daily Reconciliation reports, Damaged Piece reports and Commingle reporting.
May include other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
This position requires a high degree of both oral and written communication skills. The Mail Coordinator communicates with project managers, accounting, supervision and the USPS on all issues affecting mail orders. The Mail Coordinator also works closely with the Production Coordinator to produce, track and update Daily Reports for Mailings, Damaged Pieces and Commingle.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.18 to $25.46 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
