SUMMARY The Training Specialist is an experienced training professional
who provides support for training projects and initiatives at Pfizer
Meridian Medical Technologies, Sterile Production Manufacturing (SPM)
facility. The position is responsible for supporting training
improvement projects, developing and delivering training content for
aseptic operations, scheduling training events, and providing training
data and reports to support SPM production. Main Accountabilities
Aseptic Operations Training & Documentation Support (40%) * Support
training process improvement projects for St. Louis Brentwood Aseptic
Operations. * Develop and maintain of aseptic operations training
including needs assessment, instructional design, and job function
curricula. * Use training needs analysis to distinguish training issues
from non-training issues and to design training for learning and
performance outcomes. * Collaborate with authors and SMEs in aseptic
production operations to support instructional design, technical
writing, and training development needs; ensure that aseptic production
work instructions and training materials are in alignment. * Participate
on HE Reduction Teams; assist with CAPA recommendation and closure for
human error issues attributed to learning gaps. Training Administration
(10%) * Provide PLS training report metrics for aseptic operations. *
Track, trend, and interpret training data; participate on department
teams to assess performance gaps and develop remedial interventions.
Training Delivery (50%) * Deliver small or large classroom training with
a focus on GMP and SPM aseptic production. * Deliver new hire
orientation, aseptic boot camp, GMP, aseptic training, and other
department specific training topics. The successful candidate will
collaborate with subject matter experts to develop learning solutions;
develop and maintain training tools (curricula, OJTs, SOPs, e-learning);
deliver training; assure site compliance with Pfizer Quality Standards;
roll-out specific aseptic and site training initiatives; and achieve
compliance and business results through strong partnerships with other
site functions. The Training Specialist reports to the Manager/Team
Leader Aseptic Operations & Technical Development. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and deliver new hire, aseptic boot camp, GMP, and other
department specific training topics. * Partner with Training Team,
Subject Matter Experts and site resources to develop and maintain
training content, materials and tools (curricula, OJTs, assessments,
trainer guides, evaluations, etc.) * Provide PLS data and reports to
support aseptic operations. * Assist in roll out of department and site
initiatives. * Create and maintain computer based e-learning modules,
skills, and knowledge assessments as required to support department
learning objectives and training requirements. * Partner with aseptic
training team members to implement training system improvement and other
change initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree or equivalent
required; * 2+ year related experience in cGMP environment; experience
with aseptic processes highly desirable. * Experience developing,
delivering and assessing classroom, computer-based, and competency based
functional training. * Learning Management System experience or
equivalent database experience. * Strong interpersonal and communication
skills required to build and maintain working partnerships with all
levels of the organization * Excellent planning, organizational,
presentation, and facilitation skills. * Must be adaptable to adjust to
changing demands, timelines, and deliverables. * Must be able to work
both independently and in a team environment * Must be self-motivated
and willing to learn new and changing responsibilities. Candidate must
demonstrate commitment to values based leadership and achieving

Strong ability to deliver training in a variety of settings required. *
Intermediate to advanced computer skills that include MS Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS The noise level in
the work environment is moderate. While performing the duties of this
job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and talk or
hear; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel, crouch; must occasionally
lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
this job include ability to identify and distinguish colors and to
adjust to focus. Use of eye protection, gloves, and PPE is required.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in Aseptic gowning procedures is required. The employee must
be able to work areas of the facility that requires all body parts to be
completely covered (gowned) for substantial periods of time. Must be
able to work a flexible schedule to train off-shift personnel as
