    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the strategy, planning, and design of an end-state blueprint for CRM + ERP system architecture, and the sequence of steps to get there.
    • Identify the most promising areas in which to retire technical debt, modernize the technical stack, integrate more scalably, improve capability more quickly,
    • Guide teams responsible for applications, integration, reporting & analytics how to simplify their landscape, reduce complexity and total cost of ownership, and increase agility to meet/exceed the business and financial goals of clients, and the company
    • Serve as a primary escalation point for enterprise architecture, providing expert advice and solutions to complex issues.
    • Guide teams in translating new business strategies into integrated, end-to-end technology solutions
    • Design and chair architectural review milestones within the software development lifecycle
    • Design architectural frameworks, standards, methods, and train colleagues to utilize them while solutioning
    • Engage business & technical leaders, to secure broad commitment to adopting the to-be end-state blueprint, and methods to get there
    • Break down barriers of silo’d thinking and local optimization of a single department or function, in favor of global, cross-functional, company-wide optimization.

    REQUIRED

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
    • 15+ years of experience simplifying CRM + ERP + boundary system (PLM, MRP, supplier collaboration, pricing, e-commerce, credit mgmt, tax, treasury, rebates, RMA,...) landscapes, preference for candidates with Salesforce, and Oracle Cloud ERP experience.
    • 15+ years of experience with end-to-end business processes, spanning engage market & customer, lead-to-order, order-to-cash, offer-to-plan, plan-to-fulfill, record-to-report, source-to-pay, and contact-to-resolution.
    • 10+ years of experience using visual artifacts to document and convey the intent of an enterprise architecture.
    • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, governance, and change management within complex ERP landscapes.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP migration projects
    • Ability to navigate uncertainty, drive outcomes in fluid situations
    • Demonstrated ability in information security, data management, and regulatory compliance.
    • 10+ years of experience with cloud-hosted applications, on-premises, and knowledge of the pros/cons between them
    • 10+ years of experience with middleware, EDI, OIC, SOA, API, and knowledge of the pros/cons between them

    Compensation & Benefits Details

    • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
    • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
    • You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan.
