Process Engineer Intern - Williamsburg, MI

Process Engineer Intern will assist in assembling of data for the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Under direct supervision/guidance, this position will work along with teams to compile, analyze and report operational, test, and research data to establish validated processes and performance standards for newly product introductions or modified products, processes, or materials.

• Engineering intern will work closely with and assist engineering staff with various engineering assignments. Design, build and validate tooling, fixtures, and standards

• Develop and/or update SOP's and work instructions

• Participate in 5S and Safety activities

In this position, the candidate will use engineering principles to provide technical support. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED; required
• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Biomedical discipline; required.
• Completed college credits to achieve senior level status; preferred.
• Completed college credits to achieve junior level status; required.
• Previous Intern or Co-op experience; preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills, hands-on approach, proactive safety approach, and sense of urgency in problem solving; required.
• Computer literate: AutoCad , and SolidWorks; preferred.
