What’s the job?

• Leadership role driving improvements through standard work practices within shift production team.
• Assures good housekeeping practices, enforces plant rules and safety regulations, counsels’ employees, documents performance issues and applies the provisions of the labor contract.
• Manages administrative functions during a shift, including time and attendance, production reporting and the completion of production work orders
• Works closely with Production Planning, Maintenance/Electrical departments, Quality Manager, Production Managers and Continuous Improvement Manager.
• Assists with coordination of autonomous and preventive maintenance activities
• Participates in Continuous Improvement events such as Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping and 5S projects.

Work Schedule: The Production Supervisor works a rotating shift consisting of three days of 12-hour shifts in Week 1 and then four 12-hour shifts in Week 2.

Required Qualifications

What do you bring?

• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required,
• One to three years of experience in a manufacturing operation.
• At least one year of manufacturing production-related scheduling and supervisory experience
• Energy, creativity and drive to continuously improve your team.
• Preferred technology experience: Microsoft Office, SAP, Trident and Kronos UKG.
