PROJECT MANAGEMENT GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Increasingly, our work needs to be agile, collaborative, and creative to meet the complex business challenges brought about by a rapidly changing technology landscape. All across our business, project management teams provide the support, skillsets, and relationships to meet short- & long-term goals across a variety of disciplines (e.g. engineering, services, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.).
The Project Management Graduate Development Program is a 2-year, full-time program comprised of 4 distinct rotations (approximately 6 months each) to build the breadth & depth of your experience. During, you’ll take on projects that will develop your business acumen, understanding of project management, and experience in key project management competencies. You’ll also be exposed to different business areas, products, global teams, leadership styles, and a range of project management techniques. The fourth and final rotation will serve as a capstone that encompasses all of your learning, where you’ll lead a project applying your skills & experiences in a more complex, challenging situation.
Past projects have included developing stakeholder engagement plans for a new product development team, leading a quality improvement initiative for a stealth fighter jet program, developing governance strategies for international program teams, working with customers to resolve business critical issues, and leading risk management activities to save millions of dollars in product supply chain costs.

Towards the end of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to work towards a professional project managementcertification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).Through coaching, mentoring, and training with our best technical and business leaders, you will develop the necessary technical and behavioral skills to advance your career as a well-rounded leader in Project Management.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Ideal candidates will have strong demonstrations of interpersonal skills, curiosity,collaboration / team-oriented mindset,problem solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
Candidates will be able to/have:
Ability to relate to a wide variety of people and positions

Ability to manage and drive multiple projects with varying deadlines

Demonstrate written and oral communication, presentation and facilitation skills to a variety of audiences (e.g.technical experts, leadership,and customers)
Strong skills in using digital business tools (ex. Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
GRADUATION ELIGIBILITY: This role will start in Summer 2023. Minimum Bachelors required. Ideal candidates will graduate between May 2022 and August 2023.
RELEVANT MAJORS: Below are some of the majors of prior successful candidates. However, we will consider candidates from all majors who can help us solve complex business problems in a technical, highly regulated environment.
Project Management

Economics
And/or any analytical subject or background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated achievement inside and/or outside the classroom
Prior project management internship/co-op
Prior understanding of project management/planning techniques and approaches
