Job Summary

Support manufacturing and other customer-related processes by performing a variety of inspection tasks involving raw materials, finished products and documentation in a timely and accurate manner; accordingly with company and customer requirements. Drive process/manufacturing/continuous improvement projects.

Essential Functions:

• Perform routine physical property testing per SOP or specifications of all incoming raw materials, diamonds and finished products including In-Process pH adjustments (alumina slurries).
• Prepares & maintains written & electronic forms and/or reports of test results as well as scanning documents.
• Maintains electronic product testing database in Ignition.
• Maintains a good working knowledge of the theory and operation of all test equipment and procedures.
• Manages the SG Anaheim Calibration Program and performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual calibrations as required.
• Create and submit Certificate of Analysis (CoAs) to Production, Shipping and Customers as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• 1-3 years of Manufacturing experience is required
• 1-3 years of experience in product or process development is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & Powerpoint is required

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 5% of base pay and is based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $48,000 to $61,100 annually. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
