  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers
    • RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing
    • Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests
    • Setup, program and release jobs from print queue
    • May adjust image position, perforations and folds on paper
    • Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality
    • Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed. Maintain inventory levels

    3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 10pm-6:15am, plus overtime as needed. Must be willing to work mandatory overtime periods including weekend and holidays.

    Qualifications

    • Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions and the skill to operate the equipment
    • Requires skill to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment (e.g., maintain machine operating and maintenance records, write new identification labels for computer tapes, etc.)
    • Skill to perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment
    • Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments
    • Able to work extended hours and weekends
    • Job requires the ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
    • Must be able to operate well in a team environment
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Must be able to perform repetitive hand motions
    • Must have the ability to achieve standard production and quality goals
    • Must have experience working in a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environment
    • Must be willing to work mandatory overtime periods as critical work volume dictates

    The pay range for this role at the noted location is $14.50 - $18.13/ hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
