POSITION TITLE: Sourcing Analyst – Konecranes Hoist Americas (KHA)

LOCATION: Springfield, OHIO

Job Summary :

Develop and manage sourcing strategies and objectives driving improvements for assigned Products and Services. Will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing cost reduction plans and frame agreements. Support cross-functional strategic sourcing teams that are accountable for execution and implementation of sourcing strategies.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies

2. Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support the procurement process

3. Enhance the supplier base and supplier relationships

4. Negotiate favorable pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers

5. Generate RFP’s/quotes, and perform cost and price analysis

6. Implement new supplier agreements and perform supplier assessments

7. Coordinate the team review and assessment of new candidate suppliers including managing the approval process through to production approval

8. Generate and present supplier performance metrics to suppliers and manage associated corrective actions

9. Lead sourcing project teams

10. Coordinate and work with Quality, Engineering and Production in the supplier/part approval process.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position Requirements :

· A four-year college degree related to the job description

· 5 or more years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong Project Management skills

· Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to manage long-term supplier relationships

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access

· Knowledge of SAP system and associated purchasing and inventory modules

· Certified Purchasing Management Expert (CPMS) or Purchasing Certification (SPSM) certifications a plus
