    Job Description

    Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Supply Chain Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. This Intern will be contributing to projects that directly impact our operations, gaining insight into how products move from concept to customer and learning from industry experts.

    Position Location: This position is for a hybrid schedule based in North Olmsted, Ohio

    RESPONSIBLIITIES:

    • Maintain and present account level forecast to commercial team.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams and align on projected sales plan.
    • Collaborate with Marketing on forecasting New Product Launches to ensure launch timing is met.
    • Learn current APO forecasting system and apply appropriate forecast models to SKUS.
    • Learn new Demand AI+ forecasting system and compare results with APO forecasting system.
    • Validate statistical forecast outputs are in line with input trends.
    • Document process steps for Demand AI+ forecasting system and add to documentation library.
    • Monitor and communicate any SKU level service interruptions using control tower as well as the reporting the recovery timing.
    • Collaborate with Inventory team on safety stock settings, buffer requirements, and inventory plan.
    • Consolidate internal requests for new minimum order quantities and provide resolutions for inventory reduction.
    • Correspond with suppliers about changes to minimum order quantities and provide feedback to internal requests.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Pro-active, can take initiative in the absence of specific guidance.
    • Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention-to-detail.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • High level of professionalism.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Organizational Management, Supply chain, or related field.

    Currently a sophomore or Junior in college

    Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $18.00 - $21.00. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
