Our clients include commercial and industrial building owners, government installations, schools, universities, and hospitals where safety, security, and reliable IT systems are essential.

    Position Overview:
    BST is seeking a dynamic and motivated Low Voltage and Fire Alarm Service Salesperson to join our team and support the Alabama territory. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and expanding sales within our current markets and exploring new opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
    • Maintain relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Prepare and present inspection, maintenance, and service proposals, including necessary follow-ups to close sales successfully.
    • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce, accessible to branch operations and corporate management.
    • Collaborate with branch management to ensure adequate support resources for sales success.
    • Take ownership of project success, coordinating installation, technical services, and customer training to meet project goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Participate in trade shows, product demonstrations, sales training, and other events to enhance BST’s visibility and drive sales growth.
    • Periodic overnight travel may be required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
    • 2–5 years of proven sales experience in low voltage and/or fire alarm systems.
    • Experience with security, CCTV, and voice/data systems is a plus.
    • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and disciplined.
    • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to prepare quotations.
    • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in computer applications and CRM systems.
    • Eligible to obtain all necessary licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
