Due to our growth, internationally and in the US, TARGUS AG and TNA are recruiting Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Consultants in Europe and the United States. Founded in 2001, we have 50+ professionals and a +20% growth rate. 14 of these management consultants are staffed in the USA, 9 of whom commute from Germany on a 14 day rotation. Our immediate goal is to replace these 9 German consultants with full time residents in the USA. This success has been achieved by consistently increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of some of the worlds leading manufacturing companies. Until now, TARGUS business has been primarily concentrated in Europe, with a smaller but very successful practice in the USA. Our US practice has been largely in support of the US subsidiaries of our European clients. We have also been successful in landing new North American clients which will further drive our growth. TARGUS success emanates from its disciplined approach to problem solving that combines detailed analytics and sophisticated tools, applied in a common sense decision making process. Results are precisely measured, achieved and sustained for the long term. The payback period of a TARGUS project is usually between 8-12 months. Or, as a client stated, TARGUS pays for itself! Our management consultants are usually on the client site 5 days / week. These responsibilities serve as the basis for our fact based recommendations and the development of TARGUS exceptional skills pool, tools and processes. Specifically: * Conduct analysis required for data based improvement recommendations. * Lead TARGUS and client teams to identify maximum, sustainable results. * Lead implementation of identified opportunities to achieve sustainable improvements. * Work with the client to identify opportunities beyond the scope of the current project. * Contribute to the crafting, presenting and selling of client projects. * Develop his/her reputation within the client hierarchy and assume account leadership. * Contribute to the development and improvement of TARGUS internal tools and methods. * Support younger TNA colleagues as a coach and mentor. * Actively participant in sustaining and improving the TARGUS spirit and culture. Personal Profile: The individual we are searching for has a combination of management and shop floor operating experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment. This individual can influence change and lead a team using data, expertise and personal persuasion. His/her success comes from the desire to design and implement the best solutions possible, knowing that success depends on implementation by the client. He / she has an advanced technical degree and the following knowledge, skills and experience: Knowledge / Experience: A background that allows you to recognize where opportunities exist in a clients operations and the experience to know what works. Specifically; * +3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. * Advanced degree in natural sciences, math., econ., computer science, IT or statistics. * Project management experience. * Knowledge/implementation of business intelligence infrastructure and collection and analysis of data sets with Microsoft BI, Tableau or SAS preferred. * Ability to apply Lean / Six Sigma principles preferred but not required. * Mastery of English required with some proficiency in Spanish helpful. * A business degree is preferred but not required. * International experience in preferred but not required Skills: Expertise in operations and leading complex work streams in complicated organizations. Specifically; * Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments. * Ability to lead and exert influence without hierarchical authority. * Work independently depending on what the situation requires. * Lead teams and motivate team members to achieve to their maximum capabilities. * Communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing (Word and PowerPoint). * Excellent analytical and conceptual skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy.
