ABOUT THE ROLE : Trojan Battery Company is looking for a Formation Operator to join our incredible team at our Lithonia, GA battery manufacturing facility. Your role in Formation is to on/off bear batteries from the production line, fill batteries with acid to the proper level, and correctly apply caps on the batteries according to battery type. As a Formation Operator, you will perform visual inspections for proper acid levels and cosmetic defects. Candidates will be committed to performing the role safely and must wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator mask. SHIFTS AVAILABLE : * 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM * 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Shift premium available where applicable Candidates must be available for various shifts, and overtime THE DAY-TO-DAY : * Place ventilation caps onto batteries according to battery type * Perform the proper function of stacking on / off from conveyors * Analyze the correct direction of the batteries during off bearing (Understand correct polarity of batteries)

• Assure correct acid level and conduct a visual inspection for cosmetic defects * Identify the correct cable (jumpers) to be placed on specific types of batteries * Ensure correct marking on the battery rack to aid Circuit Tender * Ability to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc. * Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment * Complete all required Safety Training * Comply with Hazards Communication procedures ENVIRONMENT : * Extreme heat environment, temperatures can reach over 100° Fahrenheit * Must be clean shaven * All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory communal showering at end of shift and lunch periods on site.
