    Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.
    • Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility.
    • Develop operational plan and budget for the facility.
    • Establish foundry goals and objectives; monitor and evaluate operating performance; provide direction, judgment, leadership, and technical expertise to maximize efficiency.
    • Accountable for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Safety, Environmental, Quality and Productivity within the operations.
    • Evaluate new technology and how it can be applied to enhance the operation.
    • Build skills depth and backup within hourly employee ranks and succession planning for leadership positions.
    • Assist in establishing annual cost reduction goals and execution of goals for the organization to meet the company business plan.
    • Develop direct reports, coach, mentor, and handle performance reviews.
    • Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes.
    • Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
    • Work with sales and planning to achieve on time delivery metrics and provide best in industry lead times and service.
    • Attend trade shows and other events to promote capacity and capabilities of the facility.
    • Work with customers to quote new work and products to run in the facility.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering discipline, and/or significant relevant manufacturing foundry management experience required.

    • Additionally, five (5) years of related on-the-job experience required.

    • Experience with electric melt, robotics, and additive manufacturing preferred.
