  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and municipalities located within the territory, creating value, and driving financial results.
    • Understand and demonstrate the features and benefits of the full line of Tyler Union products.
    • Conduct distributor training and engineering presentations to further improve specification position within assigned territory.
    • Coordinate efforts with inside sales, quotations, production, distribution, and engineering departments to achieve territory sales objectives.
    • Inform management of business, product, and competitive trends within the territory.
    • Active participation in helping to resolve internal problems that can negatively impact customers including quality, manufacturing, scheduling, and delivery issues.
    • Analyze sales levels and trends, and initiate actions as necessary to ensure the attainment of sales objectives.
    • Perform various other miscellaneous sales and service-related duties as directed by management. ********
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Previous outside sales experience and an extensive understanding of sales functions.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Business-related discipline is preferred. Individuals without a degree will be considered but must possess industrial sales experience or significant work experience in the waterworks industry.
    • Ability for extensive domestic travel as projects and work responsibilities dictate.
    • Valid drivers license and good driving record is required.

    • Strong communication, organization, and people skills.
    • Self-motivated, assertive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively.

    Additional Information

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing for long periods of time, sitting for long periods of time. Any physical requirements included in traveling to job sites, proper PPE is to be worn based on environment.

    Work Environment:

    • Remotely working from home and customer sites as needed. Maintain all company property provided to you with respect.
