    Job Description

    As the VP, HR Business Partner , you will serve as a strategic thought partner, consultant, and advisor to the business and oversee a team of HRBPs to support client groups including Engineering. You will partner with the business to execute and realize the goals of our people strategy and support the strategic direction of the talent development and enablement needs of a fast-changing industry and global workforce.

    In this role, you will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and lead a team of HR Business Partners.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Engage as a trusted advisor, coach and strategic people consultant to executive leaders and teams.
    • Leverage deep understanding of the business to effect change and achieve business outcomes by proactively diagnosing issues and developing people strategy and talent management practices aligned to the enterprise approach.
    • Actively engage with business leaders to build purpose-driven organizations that complements and aligns across the enterprise and ensures organization effectiveness and optimal org design, including aspects of org health (e.g., spans and layers).
    • Drive the business talent agenda and provides clear leadership on talent management by building high-performing executive teams and strong alignment of leader behaviors and mindsets to a defined set of company expectations.
    • Maintain ongoing awareness of the external social, political, environmental, and macroeconomic trends affecting current and future workforce and proactively raise potential impacts and solutions.
    • Champion and ensure strong execution of company-wide people strategies and programs while providing the voice of the business and country-based needs.
    • Partner with executives on strategic planning and execution of executive hiring, reward decisions, succession planning, and development.
    • Lead and develop a strong, high-performing HR business partner team that has deep connections to the business and the company ecosystem (HR, Legal, Finance) to drive and create tangible business value.
    • Actively engage and collaborate with the HR leadership team to lead functional transformation, shape enterprise-wide strategic priorities, and drive positive business results.
    • Collaboratively engage across the global HR team and ecosystem sharing insights, offering thought leadership and a solution-oriented mindset, and participating on cross-functional priority teams.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in human resources management or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
    • 15+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources consulting C-suite executives in a technology related business, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • 8+ years leading/managing teams
    • Goal-oriented, accountable, and passionate about driving results
    • Demonstrated success in developing progressive global strategies and driving continuous improvement of people experiences in a global workplace.
    • Experience successfully designing, facilitating, and leading people and business transformation activities with executive stakeholders and cross-functional ecosystem partners.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills across levels with an ability to persuade, influence, and build enthusiasm and commitment.
    • Proven track record of influencing, leading, and facilitating large scale strategic initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders (exec leadership team and business leadership sponsors)
    • Strong business insight and acumen with a keen ability to quickly assimilate new information and leverage data and analysis to facilitate business decisions.
    • Experience working and navigating globally with direct experience in Asia Pacific cultures and business markets. Experience in Japan, Thailand, India or Malaysia is a plus.
    • Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results and developing high performing team members.
    • An agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to lead through ambiguity and change
