Job Description Gore Medical Products has provided creative
therapeutic solutions to complex medical problems for 35 years, saving
and improving the quality of lives worldwide. As a leading manufacturer
of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical
meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for a Clinical
Specialist to join our Heart Valve business. This role can be based in
Flagstaff or Phoenix, Arizona, with a preference for Flagstaff, Arizona.

closely with Product Specialists, Engineering, Clinical Affairs,
Clinical Training, Marketing and other functions. You will contribute to
execution of pre-clinical and clinical research to support development
and commercialization of new Gore Medical Products. Travel for this role
will include domestic and global travel and frequent travel to Gore
facilities across Arizona. The ideal candidate will: * Be passionate
about providing support for state-of-the-art implantable medical devices
- Be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and
collaborating on cross-functional teams * Recognize the importance of
building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
Responsibilities include: * Supporting product development activities,
including pre-clinical animal studies * Creating and delivering
product/clinical training to customers and Gore Associates * Providing
clinical training and case support for clinical studies, including
responding to emergency calls and physician inquiries * Supporting
regulatory, marketing and product development activities via clinical
literature reviews, in-house clinical evaluations, and study protocols *
Influencing new product development concepts and assisting in fostering
relationships between product teams and key clinical opinion leaders *
Establishing, maintaining, and supporting appropriate procedures within
the quality system * Reviewing and analyzing CT and echocardiographic
imaging in support of product development and clinical research
Required Job Qualifications: * One of the following: * Masters
Degree in Engineering or Science and a minimum of 2 years of work
experience in product development within the medical device or life
sciences industry * Doctorate Degree in Engineering or Science * Strong
verbal, written and presentation skills for technical content *
Experience working successfully cross-functionally * Demonstrated
attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to: * Read and interpret
scientific or clinical publications and data * Be flexible in response
to changing product and project commitments * Influence internal and
external partners * Adapt to continual changes in travel schedules (for
example, to support emergency clinical cases) * Apply medical, surgical,
and interventional skills and terminology * Travel extensively (up to
50%) Desired Job Qualifications: * A background in cardiac
applications * Experience with engineering & technology used in heart
valves * Prior experience with CT and/or echocardiographic imaging *
Prior experience working within a Quality System environment *
Experience authoring peer-reviewed journal publications * Experience in
the operating room, catheter lab, radiology, or cardiology departments *
