    The Team Members We're Looking For...

    We are looking to add members to our 3rdd shift Warehouse Team! In these roles, you will have the opportunity to learn or hone skills specializing in warehouse operations related to production and vendor products like:

    • Working the main receiving dock and final disposition of products
    • Raw materials receipt, storage and distribution
    • Finished goods distribution

    During the course of your day, some of the things you'd be doing include:

    1. Receiving, identifying and verifying materials incoming from production and/or outside vendors and stores in appropriate location per specifications and department guidelines.
    2. Distributing and/or storing items per department guidelines and specifications.
    3. Accurately processing and maintaining all related documentation via PC and/or handwritten.
    4. Using appropriate material handling equipment to loads and/or unload truckload carriers per specifications.
    5. Preparing orders for shipment per instructions and specifications including pallet labeling, consolidation, or stretch wrapping.
    6. Maintaining inventory per department guidelines.
    7. Responding to all inter-company requests for materials and material counts. Incumbent serves as a resource to department/team members and others in resolving related issues and problems.
    8. As a member of a production support team; training, assisting and supporting other team members in problem solving and meeting department goals. Continuously reviewing current processes and searching out improvement methods to improve product/process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process.
    9. Performing general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group and assists other areas as required.
    10. Based on business need, assisting/supporting in other job functions within process or other company processes within scope and ability
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    To be able to do this job you need :

    1. High School Diploma or GED.
    2. Demonstrated proficiency in performing basic math calculations including whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
    3. Legible handwriting.
    4. Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
    5. The ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions
    6. Good judgment and decision making ability
    7. The ability to continuously stand and/or sit, stretch, reach, stoop and bend.
    8. Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Inventory Control systems database and storage locator systems.
    9. Demonstrated skill and safety in using material handling equipment such as Order Picker, Swing Reach, Fork Lift, Hand Trucks, Pallet Trucks, and Clamp Truck. Must be able to obtain a Material Handling License.
    10. The ability to work at varying heights.
    11. Must be safety conscious and alert to safety hazards.
    12. The ability to lift, carry push and pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 100 lbs. with mechanical assistance or the help of another employee. (Using appropriate material handing equipment, incumbent maneuvers up to 2000 lbs.)
