Job Description

As  a  Process Technician , Manufacturing, you will be the primary interface between the manufacturing, maintenance, and process and equipment engineering teams to ensure the consistent production of high quality wafers. Specifically, you are responsible for monitoring the performance of tooling used in the manufacturing process and for helping to identify processing issues affecting output or product quality. You are also responsible for the cycle time within their area and must resolve any WIP that is delayed or on hold. In addition, you are often directly involved in the resolution of tooling or processing issues and may recommend, document and implement changes at the direction of the appropriate engineering group. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge and familiarity of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes (Electroplating, wet etch process, Metal Liftoff, CMP, photolithography, metrology, sputter etch, sputter deposition) and logistics
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control systems, applications and rules 
• Knowledge of MESA or similar Shop floor Control Systems 
• Able to extract, summarize, interpret and present process data
• Strong critical thinking and risk assessment
• Able to apply process data to decision making 
• Knowledge and familiarity of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Principles and DMAIC processes 
• Proficiency or experience with SQL or similar query languages
• Proficiency or experience with VBA, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Project Management applications 
• Leadership qualities and experience
• History of problem solving; able to drive problems to resolution 
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Qualifications

PREFERRED EDUCATION BACKGROUND OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors of Science in either the following:
  • Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Materials Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Data Analysis or Statistics
  • Chemistry or Physics

Position is for Day Shift (7am to 7pm) on an AWS (Alternative Work Schedule)
