Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated university students to learn and contribute hands-on with our SSD Firmware engineering teams for an 6-month Co-Op. Current students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field and graduating December 2024 and beyond are encouraged to apply. We are recruiting in the following area for a 6-month Co-Op position in Rochester, MN, starting May 2024.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SSD Firmware Development Co-Op Engineer - As a Firmware Development Co-Op Engineer, you will be part of a team of growth minded problem solvers that are bringing to life world-class performance SSDs for our Enterprise customers. In this role, you will learn and develop protocol-based firmware using C/C++ and Python, work with team members to support and enhance CI test infrastructure, triage and debug complex firmware bugs, and develop firmware specification documents.
