    THE ROLE: DRIVING BRAND VALUE AS A CORE ELEMENT OF BUSINESS SUCCESS

    We have an exciting opening available for an experienced consultant who is passionate about the convergence of brands and organizational financial performance. This person will perform a dual role:

    • HELP TO ACCELERATE THE GROWTH OF OUR CRITICAL BRAND VALUATION PRACTICE - in time taking over the NA leadership of this practice
    • LEAD QUANTITATIVE BRAND GROWTH STRATEGY ASSIGNMENTS such as market sizing, segmentation and growth projections

    It has been consistently shown that companies with strong brands, consistently outperform their peers across the worlds' financial markets. Kantar's Brand Z data has shown that strong brands offer stronger shareholder return and are more resilient in times of crisis. The Brand Z data identifies brand value by linking brand and financial information from more than 30,000 brands across the world. The Kantar Consulting Team leverages this data and proprietary financial and brand modelling approaches to unlock the holy grail for marketers. How can they link brand equity shifts to financial performance and maximize the intangible value of their brands? Our teams are able to identify which brand attributes are linked to maximum financial return and build out tangible long term growth maps. Not surprisingly this kind of consulting is in high demand, and so we are looking for a strong player who can cross the divide between brand and finance. It is critical that this person is able to operate on multiple levels:

    • Hit the ground running, as an experienced consultant, knowledgeable about what it takes to win in client service.
    • Comfortable in the manipulation, reading and interpretation of multiple data sets- including balance sheet projections and brand equity forecasting.
    • Skilled in moving beyond the data to making concrete business recommendations.
    • Uses storytelling to develop persuasive and inspiring business arguments to senior level Fortune 500 clients.
    • Has excellent communication skills in writing, presentations and in day-to-day interactions with teams and clients.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced team-based environment as a leader, coach and team-mate

    You would be joining as a critical member of the Brand & Marketing Consulting team, that operates like a small entrepreneurial business unit inside of Kantar North America. It is a team of passionate overperformers that value excellence, agility and leadership at all levels, but at the same time are warm, human and supportive.

You are passionate about facts, but realize that storytelling, visuals and attention to detail are the key to persuasive client service.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Function as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners, coordinating all aspects of the delivery for both the executive and junior teams
    • Structure project approach for team execution
    • Support senior staff in identifying and securing new client opportunities, development of proposals, winning work, and developing programmatic client relationships
    • Deliver strategic recommendations in the shape of compelling stories through a synthesizing multiple data point
    • Creates an inclusive, inspiring and enjoyable place to work that makes us a magnate for talent
    • Exercise leadership in communication and action
    • Actively participate in client meetings and workshops
    • Guide and coach junior team members to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong academic background, potentially including MBA or other professional degree
    • 5-6 years' experience at least two of which should be in consulting with a financial bent
    • At least 1-2 years working banking or financial industry a strong plus
    • Demonstrated Interest in brand and marketing
    • 1-2 years people management experience
