    Temp Analyst, Metadata AMC Networks Inc. 78 reviews - New York, NY Part-time, Temporary OVERVIEW The Analyst, Metadata is responsible for conforming, and preparing descriptive metadata for package level deliverables. This role will support personnel in the Metadata Team as well as colleagues in the Media Management Teams in confirming and refining metadata as it moves from Network metadata suppliers through various applications and outward to MVPDs with a focus on VOD and TVE workflows. The Analyst will interact with the transport providers to assist in investigating and rectifying delivery inconsistencies or anomalies. This role is responsible for maintaining AMCN metadata to standards set by the department. This role is also expected to contribute to and support the growth and maintenance of internal Metadata Team information management policies and RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain and support metadata process requirements between Operations Teams and Transport Providers. * Receive non-linear Network schedules. Transform availability windows to VOD/TVE/EST/SVOD Deliverable Schedule.

    • Produce deliverables to partner spec, document and execute on requirements to update live content, delete assets as necessary from owned and operated site player. * Create Sequence titles to track creation and delivery of all non-linear metadata and assets. Coordinate with Media Logistics & Operational Systems (MLOS) team to establish workflow templates that suit all scheduling scenarios. * Manage daily and ad hoc updates to live VOD/TVE/EST/SVOD content, coordinating with Network and Operation stakeholders on job status. Schedule and issue MDU's through the transport providers and/or MLOS to adjust live content. * Share Deliverables schedule with MLOS via the master list and Sequence. Communicate updates via Basecamp and the master list. * Interact with Transport Providers to confirm deliveries, re-pitches, scheduling changes and updates as necessary. * Assist on development, research, documentation and presentation of Special Projects as needed.
