    As a Curology Brand Ambassador, you will play a fundamental role in marketing Curology and showcasing the benefits of their personalized skincare treatment service. Through individual conversations, events, sampling, and social media promotion, your goal will be to drive awareness and broaden the reach of Curology on your college campus, while offering interested individuals an opportunity to sign up for a 30-day free trial to try the service for themselves.

    TIMELINE: This position is for the Fall 2022 semester with potential for extension into future semesters:

    • Training: Monday, September 12th - Sunday, September 25th, 2022 (2 weeks)
    • Program Execution: Monday, September 26th, 2022 - Sunday, December 11th, 2022 (11 weeks)

    Each Ambassador will be responsible for working 30 total hours over the course of the 11 week program execution period listed above. You will have 3 weeks off for midterms, Thanksgiving and finals.

    Curology is creating the next generation of skincare through customized treatment plans and formulas with powerful prescription ingredients for acne and anti-aging. We believe great skin shouldn’t be a luxury, but a fact of life.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Must commit to working 30 hours on behalf of Curology over the course of the 11-week program execution period.
    • Must complete virtual training and program planning tasks prior to starting the program.
    • Maintain weekly communication with the Evolvez team via Slack and group video calls. Participation in the group calls is designed to stimulate teamwork and learning with other Ambassadors.
    • Submit timesheets and weekly program recaps.
    • Sampling: Disbursing custom-made Curology merch and product samples in an inventive and creative way.
    • Events: Reaching your on-campus clubs, as well as other relevant on-campus networks. Furthermore, identifying and tapping into major on-campus events to broaden Curology’s reach.
    • Social media promotion: create content with your Curology branded promo products and product samples to showcase on your personal Instagram and/or TikTok accounts. Refer to the @curology Instagram/TikTok to see the type of content we expect you to create/post. Video content will be expected.
    • Participate in “lunch & learns” with Curology management, as well as provide feedback throughout the program.
    • Your success will be measured by the following metrics: 30-day free trial sign ups generated, people reached in-person, events hosted + attendance, social posts shared + impressions, pictures/videos captured.
  • Qualifications
    • Must not be currently engaged in another Ambassador program.
    • Must be a currently enrolled, full-time college student who can promote Curology in-person on their college campus.
    • Passionate about skincare, social media content creation/promotion, sampling products, event planning, and being a trend-setter for new products or services.
    • Existing users of Curology or a similar service are preferred, but not required.
    • Greek Life members are preferred, but not required.
    • Members of on-campus clubs and organizations are preferred, but not required.
    • Applicants with a strong social media presence, especially on Instagram and TikTok, are preferred, but not required. If selected, Ambassadors must make their Instagram profile a public, creator account for the entire duration of the program.
    • Interest in marketing, branding and entrepreneurship.
    • This is a paid, part-time 1099 Independent Contractor role. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US with a valid SSN.
    • You are a fearless out-of-the box thinker who has experience both strategizing and executing impactful projects or opportunities.

    PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

    • Attends a big state school - think ACC, SEC, Big-10, Pac-12, etc.
    • Applicants with a strong social media presence, especially on Instagram and TikTok, are preferred.
    • Greek Life members are preferred.
    • Members of on-campus clubs and organizations are preferred.
    • Passionate about skincare, social media content creation/promotion, sampling products, event planning, and being a trend-setter for new products or services.
    • Interest in marketing, branding and entrepreneurship - majors in such fields.
    • Previous Ambassador experiences are a plus.

    BENEFITS:

    • $20/hr for working 30 total hours over the course of the 11-week program execution period. Please note: this is not 30 hours a week, but 30 total working hours.
    • Each Ambassador can expect to earn $600 for successful completion of the program.
    • Part-time job with a flexible schedule: there are no set working hours, so control when you work. Each Ambassador determines when they’ll allocate the 30 working hours, so it works favorably with a busy college schedule.
    • Opportunity to develop employer connections with members of the Curology team throughout the program.
    • Opportunity to provide input throughout the program and be part of the improvement process with the Curology team.
    • Valuable entrepreneurial experience focused on marketing and communication.

    HOW EVOLVEZ WORKS:

    Evolvez works with companies like Curology to create and execute their Brand Ambassador programs. For this program, the Evolvez team will interview, hire, train, and manage the Ambassadors, while the Curology team maintains general oversight into what each Ambassador is doing at large. There will be various opportunities for Ambassadors to interact with the Curology team, but the day-to-day level communication will be handled by Evolvez.
