    As an HR Intern in the Zimmerman InfuZion Internship Program, you will be exposed to all facets of Human Resources! You'll be expected to go above and beyond to ensure all interns have an EPIC internship experience. Top executives and experienced professionals are available to lend you their expertise to ensure that you are prepared for success.

    Do not be fooled, this program is not for the faint of heart. This 11-week program takes determination, collaboration, and commitment at all levels. The InfuZion HR experience will introduce you to Onboarding, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, Labor Laws, Employee Relations, Performance Evaluation, and more!

    Human Resources Intern Responsibilities:

    · Liaison between agency, HR and InfuZion interns

    · Meeting logistics coordination and room set-up

    · Taking photographs of activities and maintaining a file of all InfuZion pictures taken throughout the summer

    · Recording intern timesheets throughout the duration of the program

    · Assembly of new hire welcome kits

    · Collect intern paperwork and assemble New Hire Packets

    · Assist with Business Continuity planning

    · Coordinate philanthropic efforts with the intern group

    · Intern conflict resolution

    · Compile Infuzion final project and weekly survey data

    · Rotate through various sectors within Human Resources and shadow and participate in projects including Training/Events, Facilities/Reception/Office Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Human Resource Operations and Payroll and Benefits

    Required Skills:

    · Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in Human Resources, Business, Labor Relations, Psychology or similar

    · Program recommended for upcoming Junior or Seniors (with a December 2025 or May 2026 graduation date)

    · Able to commit to Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm for the entire 11 weeks of the program (Tuesday, May 27, 2025 – Friday, August 08, 2025)

    · Must be computer literate with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook with the ability to learn new computer systems

    · Exudes maturity and professionalism in line with that of a full-time associate, and shows dedication and commitment to the program and work performed.

  • Qualifications
    • Prior food handling experience in institutional environment.
    • Experience using kitchen utensils and equipment.
    • Food handlers certification
    • Must be reliable, dependable and able to follow instructions.
    • Good communication and organizational skills.
    • WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, coffee machine, mixer and knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, and occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
