    Calling local Graphic Designers looking for an opportunity with a GREAT company! Lamar Advertising is now hiring a Marketing Graphic Designer to support graphic design efforts at the Corporate level within the Marketing creative department. This position helps to reinforce and strengthen Lamar’s company brand identity throughout all channels and ensure that it is represented on all collateral.

    What we are looking for in you:

    • Motivated, personable, team-player with a positive and accommodating attitude

    • Ability to balance projects, set deadlines, and manage expectations
    • Solid understanding of design concepts, particularly layout and typography
    • Ability to brainstorm individually and collaboratively, mock up designs, present ideas, and respond to feedback
    • Knowledge of general branding fundamentals and Lamar’s branding in particular
    • Strong copywriting and grammatical skills
    • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat
    • Experienced with Google Suite, particularly GMail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides
    • Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of the printing process, with the ability to accurately prepare files for production
    • Awareness of photography/videography fundamentals, social media platforms, email marketing, and Lamar’s applications and website where applicable to collaborate on Marketing projects with other specialized teams

    Education and experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design required
    • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Local Office Requests: Fulfill requests for sales materials from local Lamar offices.
    • Branding Projects: Work on various design projects to promote Lamar, following Lamar brand guidelines.
    • Event Marketing & Design: Assist with the branding of Lamar’s special events. Help execute a variety of print and digital assets as needed.
    • Photo Editing & Mockups: Collaborate with the Marketing Photography & Photo Editing Specialist to digitally enhance, resize, and mock up photos of Lamar inventory to be used on corporate/local websites, sales/marketing collateral, social media, and press requests.
    • Email Marketing and Web Graphics: Collaborate with the Email Marketing Team to design graphics for email and web that are engaging and “on message” to be used for corporate and local email marketing while adhering to Lamar’s brand identity.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • The primary work environment is an office.
    • The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
    • Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%.
