Job Description/Duties

1. Provide individual therapy on a weekly basis to clients on caseload.

2. Provide crisis and risk assessment services as needed.

3. Act as role model for practicum students and support as needed.

4. Facilitate/develop primary groups, experiential groups, art-therapy groups, and educational groups as asked.

5. Maintain consistent communication with Primary Counselors regarding client progress and/or issues that may arise during groups.

6. Conduct diagnostic intake interviews with new clients as needed.

7. Record notes on client's participation and progress.

8. Continue to upgrade skills via educational media.

9. Provide services on a limited basis to client's families and/or significant others as needed.

10. Maintain professional relationship with clients while following a strict code of ethics.

Qualifications

1. Must have a master's degree in psychology or related field.

2. Must be a licensure candidate receiving the appropriate supervision towards licensure.

3. Must document competence in screening for and working with clients with mental health problems, through education, training, and experience.

4. Maintain compliance with the rules adopted under MN Statutes, chapter 245G.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position, working Monday - Friday.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year DOQ.
