Vans is seeking paid student Brand Ambassadors (BAs) to help promote their new retail locations and share their love of Vans on campus. BAs will be responsible for promoting and supporting one large-scale event at a local Vans store.
We are looking for social media-savvy students who have a passion for the Vans brand and a desire to further develop their traditional and digital promotion skills. Candidates must be currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students to apply.
WHAT WE OFFER
Leadership. You will promote and support the execution of a student-focused Vans event
Opportunity. You'll be part of a global iconic brand that designs products and experiences to enable the creative pursuit of your passions
Compensation. You will be paid $225 and receive a complimentary pair of Vans for approximately 15-18 hours of work within a 6-week period
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit students and campus influencers to attend and participate in the event
Drive students to the Vans retail store through a variety of tactics:
Word-of-mouth
Social media
Campus media
Flyers and posters
Student group and organization outreach
Other unconventional methods based on your understanding of the campus culture
YOU ARE
An enabler of creative expression and passionate about music, fashion, street culture or art
Well-connected on campus and an active member of influential student groups
Bold, outgoing and excited to advocate for the Vans brand
Able to thrive in an autonomous environment
Socially and digitally connected with peers
REQUIREMENTS
Full-time undergraduate student
Ability to leverage social media and personal connections to reach a diverse audience and drive attendance to your Vans retail activation
Deep understanding of your campus culture
A 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude
