Position Overview: Work with the coaching staff of the Washington Capitals to assist in day-to-day operations at Kettler Capitals IcePlex in Arlington, VA and possibly on game nights at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. This internship will run the length of the season. This is a paid internship. Responsibilities: Film practice and process video under the guidance of the Video Coach and Analyst. Assist in the management of digital practice plans and drills. Contribute to informational and statistical reports for the Washington Capitals coaching staff, particularly using MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Work some Washington Capitals game nights in support of the video department. Provide general office support to the coaching staff during the season. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications : Must be an undergraduate or graduate student. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
