General Description: Responsible for supporting the FNG Latam Legal Department with respect to legal and regulatory matters affecting the departments business units, including: digital media, distribution/affiliate sales, programming, ad sales & marketing, compliance and regulatory matters and information security/data privacy issues. The legal intern will also be in charge of conducting comparative legal studies and general research projects geared towards analyzing specific legal and regulatory matters affecting the sales and business initiatives in the Latin American region. Essential Functions: Conducting legal and regulatory research and analysis on various legal issues, on a project basis, in order to support the existing and future strategic initiatives in Latin America. Preparation of internal toolkits and guidebooks in connection with the assigned new projects. Work closely with the teams attorneys in order to benchmark best practices and workflows in connection with each assigned project. Provide objective, thorough, timely and well-researched work product as requested and as assigned by the attorneys in the FNG Latam Legal Department. Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, case law, articles, treatises and legal codes to prepare and to assist in the preparation of legal documents. Provide general law clerking assistance as required to the Legal Department, including drafting of legal documents and legal memoranda. Liaising with internal clients in order to collect, organize and analyze relevant information in support of legal research for the FNG Legal Department. All other general tasks and projects as assigned by management. Qualifications: * Individuals pursuing their Juris Doctorate in a U.S. accredited law school * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Bilingual strong verbal and written English/Spanish skills preferred * Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel * Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate and timely research To participate in Foxs Internship program you must meet the following criteria: * Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above. * Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company. * Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
