Responsibilities include helping the executive producer create visually striking presentations.
Should know basic design software, and programs like Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be passionate about the details. Some basic video editing may also become a responsibility.
We are looking for recent graduates or advanced college students who can work 20 hours a week at our office. There is definitely plenty of room for advancement and growth!
Since producers can come from a variety of disciplines, we are open to all backgrounds, including those studying humanities, filmmaking, the arts. Somebody with experience as an executive assistant who wants to get involved in something more creative could also be a good fit.
Basically, we are looking for somebody passionate who is eager to learn the nuts-and bolts of being a top-level producer.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus but not a deal breaker. If you are a woman--especially a Latina-- you are also encouraged to apply.
Ideally, you can commit to a full year, but a semester plus the summer could also work. Experience editing video is also a plus, but ok if you're learning.
