We set up, budget, schedule and manage the Post Production and Visual Effects aspects of all the Live Action features. -Responsibilities: -Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: -Maintain database of facilities, VFX Supervisors, VFX Producers with availability, rates, vendor projects, and types of shows for which each may be appropriately utilized. -Create and update Show Files -Update Post Databases (Editors, Post Supers, 1st assists) -Cover desks when necessary (answering phones, rolling calls, scheduling, etc.) -General office tasks (printing, copying, phones, filing, etc.) -Basic Qualifications: -Candidate should have a focused interest in Visual Effects or Post Production, preferably both. -Hard-working, self-motivated and detail oriented. -Should be relatively fluent in Excel (and Microsoft Office in general). -Good Communication Skills -Positive team-player -Skilled multi-tasker -Preferred Qualifications: -Knowledge of Filemaker Pro -Familiarity with a non-linear editing platform (Avid/Final Cut/Adobe Premier) -Prior internships and/or classes in Visual Effects, Post Production, and the like, a plus -Required EducationCurrent student or recent grad studying Film/Video Production, Communications, or related -Additional Information: -Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) to participate in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship -Must be at least 18 years of age -Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. -Must possess unrestricted work authorization -Must provide full work availability -Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work. Position is located in Burbank, CA -Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months) -Unrestricted work authorization. -About The Walt Disney Studios: For over 90 years, The Walt Disney Studios has been the foundation on which The Walt Disney Company was built.
