RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports Human Resources processes by scheduling interviews and appointments.
- Answer the buzzer and provide gate and front door access to visitors.
- Answer telephone, relay messages, and maintain HR office equipment.
- Greet Applicants and assist them during the application process.
- Assist in the preparation for and execution of New Employee Orientation.
- Enroll new employees in the biometric timekeeping system.
- Maintain badge access system and create or deactivate badges issued to employees or visitors.
- Maintain the Visitor Log.
- Maintain record-keeping and employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data into the Human Resource Information System as instructed.
- Maintain regular, positive interaction with facility associates.
- Assist employees with Employee Self Service matters.
- Respond to routine employee questions, directing them to the HR Manager or HR Generalist as required.
- Assist with employee recognition programs and employee engagement activities.
- Assist in administering all training programs as instructed.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect the integrity of the Human Resources office by maintaining strict confidence regarding matters pertaining to all employees.
- Inventory and order office supplies on a regular basis.
- Replenish the front office break room on a weekly basis.
- Serve as back-up to the HR Generalist.
- Any duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have experience working in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment.
- High School Diploma, some college preferred.
- At least 1 -2 years’ experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Must be able to prioritize and efficiently manage workload and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to respond to change and pressure with a can-do attitude, while demonstrating respect and consideration for others.
- Ability to work well under pressure, handling several projects simultaneously and ability to manage workflow by reprioritizing as needed.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, detail and team oriented.
