Intern, Software Test Engineer Job ID 2018-4619 # of Openings 1 Job Locations Bloomington, MN Office Category Engineering and Testing Overview A Software Test Engineer Intern should be a motivated individual with an interest in pursuing a career in Quality Assurance and Testing. The individual will have the opportunity to learn Hylands Enterprise Medical Imaging VNA software (Acuo by Hyland), and will work closely with members of QA and Development. Daily work will involve various QA/Testing related activities, including the following: System setup and configuration, application installation, test automation, documentation, and associated tools and processes. Responsibilities Accept and learn from guidance provided by QA and Development mentors Work with VM environments for system setup Setup, configure and install applications (Acuo by Hyland) Work with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft SQL Server Gain an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Learn and utilize internal testing tools Execute test cases and work on test automation Create testing and/or process documentation Demonstrate an ability to solve problems independently Complete assigned tasks on time Qualifications Currently enrolled in an educational institution Demonstrated interest in software testing and/or development Understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and SQL Server (or relational database concepts) Solid computer skills Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and orally Basic knowledge of at least one structured programming language Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job This internship is for Summer 2019
