Client Development Coordinator, AWAL at Kobalt Music Group Los Angeles JOB SUMMARY AWAL is seeking a Los Angeles based Coordinator with strong interpersonal, organizational and execution abilities to join our team. AWAL is Kobalts market-leading Music Recordings company that provides services and support to the Independent Artists of tomorrow. This role will work closely with the SVP of Client Development and the US-based label management team with AWAL. Kobalts Label Management service team helps to onboard new clients and manage relationships with existing clients. The team also develops artists by coordinating the release of their music, connecting artists to industry resources and serving as a liaison between the artists team and AWAL. This integral support role will entail organizing and scheduling meetings, team coordination, centralized label management tasks, and various administrative tasks. The role will require a team player who is hard working, detail-oriented, confident and flexible with strong written and verbal communication skills. Assist the SVP of Client Development with scheduling meetings, booking travel and client & task management Support the Label Management team in day to day dealings with clients and various administrative needs related to new releases and ongoing priorities Research and compile information on artists and labels prior to client meetings, internal meetings, prospective client meetings, and for materials related to deal evaluation and the deal process, including decks Assist in responding to questions from Kobalt clients and internal stakeholders relating to client accounts Run reports for department and broader AWAL team Attend client shows WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  Bachelors Degree and/or relevant experience 1-2+ years experience working in an administrative role is preferred Knowledge of the recordings industry, particularly up and coming independent acts, and an understanding of the record release process is ideal Excellent organization and prioritization skills Ability to handle confidential information and interface with clients as needed High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks accurately and efficiently Strong written and verbal communication skills   Kobalt is an equal opportunity employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
