    Job Summary:

    As a Lead Installer, you will oversee the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and certification of fire alarm, security, and other electronic systems. This senior-level role requires strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. You will manage multiple projects, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the installation and service of electronic systems, including fire alarms, security, CCTV, access control, and more.
    • Program, troubleshoot, test, and certify systems, ensuring compliance with company standards.
    • Handle multiple commercial projects, both small and large.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, coworkers, and vendors.
    • Oversee project staff, ensuring quality work and adherence to deadlines.
    • Manage and resolve on-site issues, working with manufacturers and field reps to procure replacement parts as needed.
    • Maintain system logs and submit daily progress reports.

    Requirements:

    Education:

    • Required: High School Diploma or GED
    • Preferred: Post-Secondary Education

    Certifications:

    • Required: NICET Level I
    • Preferred: NICET Level II or higher, plus certifications such as EST3, EST IO64, Firelite ES-50X, and more.

    Experience:

    • Required: 7-12 years of related experience (if not NICET certified).
    • Preferred: 10-15 years with at least 2 relevant certifications.

    Skills:

    • In-depth technical knowledge of fire alarm and other electronic systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
    • Ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
    • Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders, and work on construction sites.

    Reporting & Supervision:

    • Reports to the Project Manager.
    • Manages on-site staff and ensures project completion according to plan.

    Performance Measures:

    • Meeting project deadlines, staying within budget, and delivering quality work.
    • Maintaining customer satisfaction and addressing any complaints promptly.
    • Effective team management and leadership, ensuring project goals are met.

    Working Conditions:

    • Must be able to work on construction sites and handle various weather conditions.
