Position Overview: The Television Production intern will assist with the production of in-arena shows for Monumental Sports Network. This is a paid internship. Responsibilities: Gain valuable industry experience by assisting producers and editors with content production for Monumental Sports Networks original programming and the Capitals, Wizards and Mystics in-arena shows. Learn broadcast video standards through a hands-on environment. Accompany and engage with videographers on location in the field. Opportunity to see and participate in daily television production operations for three professional sports teams (Capitals, Wizards & Mystics). Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications : Must be an undergraduate or graduate student. Submit link to video reel or example of work. Basic knowledge of video camera setup and operation. Basic knowledge of non-linear editing principles. Knowledge of Premier preferred but not required. Working comprehension of basketball & hockey and an interest in sports. Experience in live-production and control room setting preferred. Must be able to multi-task, work independently and within a team.
