    Summary:
    The Associate I position within the MHE team will be responsible for the daily operation of material handling equipment including but not limited to cranes, hoists, conveyors, etc. This role also supports the safe operation of all manufacturing equipment by ensuring that all safety rules are being followed and enforced. The Associate I may have some knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures. They should be able to follow written instructions and understand basic mechanics/electronics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operates cranes, hoists, conveyors, and other types of material handling equipment

    • Ensures the safe operation of all equipment

    • Monitors and maintains equipment performance and quality

    • Reports any problems or issues with equipment to management immediately

    • Works under close supervision to complete tasks

    • May perform simple repairs on equipment as needed

    • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment

    • Assists in conducting routine inspections of equipment

    • Participates in regular training sessions on new equipment and processes

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Some experience operating material handling equipment preferred

    • Knowledge of mechanical systems and electronic controls

    • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and regulations

    • Good communication skills both verbally and written

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on specific tasks
