PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The MBA MARKETING LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (LDP) 'S vision is to accelerate the development of future leaders in Marketing through a combination of diverse rotational assignments, targeted training and continual coaching and development.

The MARKETING LDP consists of three rotation assignments (12-18 months each) that will span multiple Marketing teams within one of BD’s largest business units. These assignments are designed to strengthen marketing expertise, cross-functional skills, and business acuity. In each rotation the associate has a key role contributing to the development and commercialization of the MMS Marketing plan. As part of the program, MBA LDP associates also participate in various networking events, career development sessions and team building activities.

Rotations may include:

• Commercial Excellence

• Customer Engagement

• Field Marketing

• Upstream Marketing

• Downstream Marketing

• Business Development

The accelerated learning opportunities and diverse experiences help prepare MBA LDPs to be future leaders of BD’s Marketing organization. Strategic employment opportunities exist for associates who have successfully completed their assignments at the end of the program!

MARKETING LDP VALUE PROPOSITION

The Marketing Rotational Associate experience is enriched with:

• Business Impact - work on purposeful and substantial assignments that add business value across BD.

• Diversity - opportunities outside of your domain expertise and build breadth through exposure to different Marketing functions, phases of product and project development, and job functions

• Mentoring and Development - Peer Mentors and Managers provide the associate with career mentorship and advice throughout the program. The associate also participates in meet & greets and lunch & learns with various leaders within Marketing as well as from key partner functions.

• Leadership Visibility - The incumbent will directly interact with Senior Marketing leaders across the business as well as have direct mentoring relationships

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Rotations will include working with senior leaders to analyze strategic and operational issues, gather market intelligence and advance business growth

• Assist in leading and completing team projects and pivotal initiatives

• Engage in learning, networking, community service and events

QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent MBA graduate or enrolled in a full-time MBA program graduating by August 2023
• Outstanding undergraduate and graduate records of achievement
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction as to duration.
• Willingness to relocate as needed to pursue rotational opportunities

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• You have a comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to explore a variety of challenges and pivot as needed

• You have strong presentation and writing skills, and ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to multifaceted cross-functional audiences effectively

• You have demonstrated critical thinking and implementation skills; proven analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights

• You have excellent relationship management skills

• Proven organization and time management skills

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.

SALARY RANGE INFORMATION

$104,900.00 - $173,000.00
