    Job Description Summary

    The Manager, Surgical Education will be responsible for the management, execution and continual improvement of the Surgical Education function. This individual will manage existing HCP and KOL relationships and will be responsible for the successful promotion and execution of Live Training, Educational Speaker Programs, Webinars and Educational Symposiums to ensure quality educational content is delivered in compliance with all related policies.

    To ensure the educational programs meet company objectives & compliance requirements, this individual will need to effectively collaborate with the Assoc Dir, Surg Ed, Surg Ed Coordinators, HCPs, Product Management, Sales Management as well as Legal, Regulatory & Medical Affairs and Compliance.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Develop relationships with strategically aligned speakers and KOL’s as needed.

    • Support the development of new Surgical Education Speakers as needed.

    • Support the development of new Surgical Education training centers as needed.

    • Manage, Cultivate and develop existing trainers/training centers/programs/presentations

    • Ensure the field sales organization/region has the training and resources necessary to achieve business objectives.

    • Utilize tools to monitor and measure the surgical education program’s efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Manage comprehensive guidelines/protocols for surgical education.

    • Develop annual surgical education business plan.

    • Participate in evaluating and establishing new modalities and programs.

    • Up to 75% travel.

    • Special projects as assigned.

    About you: To be successful in this role, you will possess :

    • Minimum bachelor’s Degree. Graduate degree preferred.

    • Minimum of 3 years Sales/Marketing/Prof Ed/Med Affairs experience in Medical Device or Pharma/Device combo Industry.

    • Proven track record of establishing relationships with Medical Device related Key Opinion Leaders.

    • A record of success, measured by accomplishments vs. objectives.

    • A strong sense of initiative, ownership and personal accountability.

    • Proven ability to work with others in a team environment.

    • Strong computer and analytical skills.

    • Strong communication/feedback skills.

    • Detailed knowledge of surgical procedures and anatomy.

    Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.

    $97,700.00 - 161,100.00 USD Annual.
