This role will be responsible for developing relationships with key decision makers in OBGYN offices across multiple markets. The candidate must have experience building relationships with healthcare professionals to educate them on our products and services as well as consulting with physicians on their medical practice needs. Candidates should be comfortable discussing medical conditions related to women’s health issues. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate information about products and services to both internal sales teams and external customers. This individual will need to manage time and territory effectively while working closely with local market sales representatives to ensure that they are meeting customer expectations. The ideal candidate would reside within close proximity to one of our major markets; Dallas, TX or Albuquerque, NM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with OBGYN physician practices within assigned territories by providing excellent customer service and high level product knowledge.

• Educate patients, nurses, and physicians on BD Medical - Pharmaceutical Systems products through clinical presentations, case studies, and product demonstrations.

• Consult with physicians on their medical practice needs, including reviewing current prescribing trends to identify areas where BD-PS can improve patient outcomes.

• Work closely with local market sales representatives to develop business opportunities.

• Assist with training of new employees.

• Manage territory expenses within budget guidelines.

• Maintain detailed records of sales activity via CRM software.

• Develop relationships with other BD associates to enhance selling effectiveness.

• Serve as subject matter expert for all products within the assigned product portfolio.

• Conduct field visits on regular basis to promote product awareness and drive sales growth.

Minimum Requirement:

• High School Diploma or GED
