  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will be responsible for reviewing and understanding the regulations and procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management.
    • You will provide program/project manager recommendations in Spectrum supportability, coordinate with sponsors on spectrum supportability and certifications.
    • You will request and process frequency assignment proposals in the Standard Frequency Action Formation (SFAF).
    • You will review the requirements for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) and how these requirements apply to acquisition programs.
    • You will participate in Acquisition Coordination Team (ACT) meeting and assist leadership in ensuring programs meet all requirements for E3 and Spectrum Supportability (SS).
    • You will assist programs with the management and oversight of properly allocating spectrum relocation funds and reporting progress to higher headquarters.

    Qualification Summary

    NO-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: provide program/project manager recommendations in Spectrum supportability, coordinate with sponsors on spectrum supportability and certifications; experience in Radio Frequency Management. NO-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: provide program/project manager recommendations in Spectrum supportability, coordinate with sponsors on spectrum supportability and certifications.
