  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as the assigned program office Logistics Element Manager (LEM) for Training.
    • You will collaborate with other APTMs across PEO MLB and other SYSCOMS to maximize the effectiveness of end-to-end training solutions.
    • You will participate on Agile software development teams to ensure innovative end user training solutions for fielded business system capabilities.
    • You will communicate with Resource Sponsors, Program Managers, NAVIFOR, Fleet Type Commanders, Fleet Forces Command, OPNAV, Echelon III Activities, and Training support contractors as the program office advocate support.
    • You will ensure program office compliance with DoD/SECNAV Acquisition and OPNAV/NAVEDTRA training Instructions and Directives, as well as enterprise training development and delivery standards.
    • You will develop program office training spend plans and provides MPT input to contract language in order to ensure requirements are met.
    • You will oversee development and timely delivery of all program office guidance and milestone requirements.
    • You will identify, plan, and submit all system and resource requirements and coordinate current and future fiscal year cost estimates and priorities for training systems.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, developing, coordinating and managing training products and services and supporting design, development, integration, execution and sustainment of Life Cycle Training solutions for current and future requirements.
